Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Due personaggi by Franco Gentilini was sold in the Arte moderna e contemporanea auction at Il Ponte in May last year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Franco Gentilini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ragazza con ventaglio in November 2000 with an auction result of ITL 84,600,000.00 (€ 77,846.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Due personaggi von Franco Gentilini wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Arte moderna e contemporanea bei Il Ponte versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Franco Gentilini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ragazza con ventaglio im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 84.600.000,00 (€ 77.846,79).
