Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Cattedrale con uccello by Franco Gentilini was sold in the Arte moderna e contemporanea auction at Il Ponte in May last year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 900.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Franco Gentilini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ragazza con ventaglio in November 2000 with an auction result of ITL 84,600,000.00 (€ 77,846.79).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Cattedrale con uccello von Franco Gentilini wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Arte moderna e contemporanea bei Il Ponte versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 900,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Franco Gentilini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ragazza con ventaglio im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 84.600.000,00 (€ 77.846,79).
