Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (unframed) by Francisco Vidal was sold in the Modern & Contemporary African Art Online auction at Bonhams in London in August last year. The price achieved of GBP 1,530.00 (€ 1,770.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Francisco Vidal have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Icarus Chocolate in May 2017 with an auction result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,228.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (unframed) von Francisco Vidal wurde im August letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary African Art Online bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.530,00 (€ 1.770,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francisco Vidal auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Icarus Chocolate im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.228,11).
