Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary African Art, which included the work Bye Bye Nyc, Hello Ld; Bye Bye Ld, Hello Nyc by Francisco Vidal. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,356.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Francisco Vidal have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2017 the work Icarus Chocolate was auctioned for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,228.11).
