Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2010 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Paintings, which included this untitled work by Francisco Narváez. Here, the upper estimate of USD 22,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 23,750.00 (€ 18,218.78). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francisco Narváez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 267,750.00 (€ 206,151.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2010 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin American Paintings durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Francisco Narváez zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 22.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 23.750,00 (€ 18.218,78) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francisco Narváez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 267.750,00 (€ 206.151,83).
