Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spanish painting On The Beach by Francisco Miralles y Galup was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,199.79) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francisco Miralles y Galup - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Un día en el parque (A day in the park), which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 54,000.00 (€ 80,133.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Spanish painting On The Beach von Francisco Miralles y Galup kam im Juni 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.199,79) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Francisco Miralles y Galup mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Un día en el parque (A day in the park) beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für GBP 54.000,00 (€ 80.133,28) versteigert wurde.
