The auction ended at the price of USD 35,000.00 (€ 31,247.21), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francisco Miralles y Galup - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Un día en el parque (A day in the park), which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 54,000.00 (€ 80,133.28).
