Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2018 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Francisco Corzas for USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,863.82). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Art Online at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francisco Corzas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Desnudo de espalda in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 200,000.00 (€ 171,379.61).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2018 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Francisco Corzas für USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.863,82) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Art Online bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francisco Corzas erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Desnudo de espalda im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 200.000,00 (€ 171.379,61).
