Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mujer con cabellera by Francisco Corzas was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 125,000.00 (€ 110,394.77) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Francisco Corzas have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2018 the work Desnudo de espalda was auctioned for USD 200,000.00 (€ 171,379.61).

Die Arbeit Mujer con cabellera von Francisco Corzas kam im November 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 110.394,77) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Francisco Corzas konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2018 die Arbeit Desnudo de espalda für USD 200.000,00 (€ 171.379,61) versteigert.
