Die Arbeit Place De Village Au Portugal von Francis Smith kam im Dezember 2007 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 9.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 9.294,00 einen neuen Besitzer.
