Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,942.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Francis Sartorius have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Full Cry in April 2015 with an auction result of USD 81,250.00 (€ 72,791.61).
