In the American Paintings auction, the work When Play and Fancy Rule the Board 'Tis Joy to Dine changed hands for USD 16,450.00 (€ 17,234.15) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francis Luis Mora - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life, which sold at auction in May 2007 for USD 57,600.00 (€ 42,815.73).
