Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Annunciation to Zacharias, after Andrea del Sarto by Francesco Morandini was auctioned at Christies in New York in February 2009. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,085.93) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Francesco I de' Medici (1541-1587), Grand Duke of Tuscany, three-quarter-length, in a fur-trimmed coat and a white ruff, his hand resting on the pages of Mattioli's 'Commentarii in sex Libros Pedacii Dioscoridis', on a draped table with a in December 2012 with an auction result of GBP 157,250.00 (€
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of Francesco I de' Medici (1541-1587), Grand Duke of Tuscany, three-quarter-length, in a fur-trimmed coat and a white ruff, his hand resting on the pages of Mattioli's 'Commentarii in sex Libros Pedacii Dioscoridis', on a draped table with a im Dezember 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 157.250,00 (€ 193.932,92).
