Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2005 Christies in London held the auction Old Master and 19th Century Drawings including Andrea del, which included the work Three Goats by Francesco Londonio. The price achieved of GBP 3,600.00 (€ 5,221.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesco Londonio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shepherds with their grazing sheep; Shepherds resting with their flock; and Peasants traveling with donkeys and sheep in January 2005 with an auction result of USD 72,000.00 (€ 55,176.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Drawings including Andrea del durch, in der auch die Arbeit Three Goats von Francesco Londonio zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.600,00 (€ 5.221,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francesco Londonio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shepherds with their grazing sheep; Shepherds resting with their flock; and Peasants traveling with donkeys and sheep im Januar 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 72.000,00 (€ 55.176,64).
