Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of EUR 17,500.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francesco Londonio - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Shepherds with their grazing sheep; Shepherds resting with their flock; and Peasants traveling with donkeys and sheep, which sold at auction in January 2005 for USD 72,000.00 (€ 55,176.64).
