Sold at the upper estimate price
In October 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters, which included the work The Madonna And Child With The Infant Saint John The Baptist by Francesco de Mura. The auction ended at the price of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,830.57), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesco de Mura achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Martirio Di Santa Barbara Strage Degli Innocenti in June 2011 with an auction result of EUR 132,750.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Oktober 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Madonna And Child With The Infant Saint John The Baptist von Francesco de Mura zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.830,57) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francesco de Mura erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Martirio Di Santa Barbara Strage Degli Innocenti im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 132.750,00.
