Auction result well in line with expectations

The work Abraham and the three Angels by Francesco de Mura was sold in the Old Master and British Paintings auction at Christies in London in October 2014. It changed hands for a price of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 6,065.06) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesco de Mura achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Martirio Di Santa Barbara Strage Degli Innocenti in June 2011 with an auction result of EUR 132,750.00.

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Die Arbeit Abraham and the three Angels von Francesco de Mura wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Old Master and British Paintings bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 6.065,06) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francesco de Mura erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Martirio Di Santa Barbara Strage Degli Innocenti im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 132.750,00.
