This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francesca Mollett - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Two Thistles, which sold at auction in October this year for GBP 254,000.00 (€ 291,662.57).
