Auction result well in line with expectations
In July this year Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work G.H. by Francesca Mollett. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,620.00 (€ 8,890.23) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesca Mollett achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two Thistles in October this year with an auction result of GBP 254,000.00 (€ 291,662.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit G.H. von Francesca Mollett zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.620,00 (€ 8.890,23) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francesca Mollett erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Two Thistles im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 254.000,00 (€ 291.662,57).
