Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2012 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art, which included the work Artist at work by Floris Arntzenius. The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Floris Arntzenius achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work De Spuistraat met gezicht naar het Plein, The Hague in October 2000 with an auction result of NLG 421,272.00 (€ 202,196.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2012 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Artist at work von Floris Arntzenius zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Floris Arntzenius erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit De Spuistraat met gezicht naar het Plein, The Hague im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 421.272,00 (€ 202.196,66).
