Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Figure by Flore Sigrist was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in June 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,172.14) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Flore Sigrist have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sur Le Trampoline Ça Décoiffe! in March 2013 with an auction result of USD 134,500.00 (€ 104,946.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Figure von Flore Sigrist kam im Juni 2015 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.172,14) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Flore Sigrist auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sur Le Trampoline Ça Décoiffe! im März 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 134.500,00 (€ 104.946,94).
