Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2007 Christies in New York held the auction Property From The Estate Of Robin Roberts, which included the work Synchronetic C-321-S by Fletcher Benton. It changed hands for a price of USD 4,750.00 (€ 3,252.76) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fletcher Benton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Yellow Lilly in July 2015 with an auction result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,601.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2007 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Property From The Estate Of Robin Roberts durch, in der auch die Arbeit Synchronetic C-321-S von Fletcher Benton zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 4.750,00 (€ 3.252,76) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fletcher Benton auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Yellow Lilly im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.601,74).
