This price was achieved in the auction 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures at Il Ponte and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 600.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fiorenzo Tomea achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spiaggia in May 2000 with an auction result of ITL 70,500,000.00 (€ 60,463.12).
