Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Candele by Fiorenzo Tomea was worth EUR 1,000.00 to a buyer in November this year. This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Art at Il Ponte and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 300.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fiorenzo Tomea achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spiaggia in May 2000 with an auction result of ITL 70,500,000.00 (€ 60,463.12).

Die Arbeit Candele von Fiorenzo Tomea war einem Käufer im November diesen Jahres EUR 1.000,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 300,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fiorenzo Tomea erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spiaggia im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 70.500.000,00 (€ 60.463,12).
