Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Selected images 1976 by Fiona Hall was auctioned at Il Ponte in December 2018. The result of EUR 800.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 800.00 – 1,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fiona Hall - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Australian Cross Purpose, which sold at auction in August 2007 for AUD 4,200.00 (€ 2,511.50).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Selected images 1976 von Fiona Hall kam im Dezember 2018 bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 800,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Fiona Hall mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Australian Cross Purpose beobachtet, die im August 2007 für AUD 4.200,00 (€ 2.511,50) versteigert wurde.
