Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Fiona Hall could be acquired at Bonhams in Sidney in June last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Sherman | Prints & Multiples auction, the work Bloodline, 1999 changed hands for AUD 369.00 (€ 352.47) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of AUD 600.00 – 900.00. Admittedly, works by Fiona Hall have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Australian Cross Purpose in August 2007 with an auction result of AUD 4,200.00 (€ 2,511.50).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fiona Hall konnte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Sidney für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Sherman | Prints & Multiples wechselte die Arbeit Bloodline, 1999 für AUD 369,00 (€ 352,47) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von AUD 600,00 – 900,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fiona Hall auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Australian Cross Purpose im August 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 4.200,00 (€ 2.511,50).
