Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Composition; Still Life With Fruit by Efraim Fima for USD 1,440.00 (€ 1,166.09). This price was achieved in the auction 19TH & 20TH CENTURY ART at Christies in Tel Aviv and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Efraim Fima have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphie E. Verte, 1977 in April 2007 with an auction result of EUR 6,783.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Composition; Still Life With Fruit von Efraim Fima für USD 1.440,00 (€ 1.166,09) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19TH & 20TH CENTURY ART bei Christies in Tel Aviv erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Efraim Fima auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphie E. Verte, 1977 im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.783,00.
