Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Calligraphy, 1973 by Efraim Fima for EUR 1,239.00. This price was achieved in the auction Abstract & Contemporary Art at Artcurial in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Efraim Fima have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphie E. Verte, 1977 in April 2007 with an auction result of EUR 6,783.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Calligraphy, 1973 von Efraim Fima für EUR 1.239,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Abstract & Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Efraim Fima auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphie E. Verte, 1977 im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.783,00.
