Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2009 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Rocks in the Negev by Efraim Fima. The price achieved of USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,464.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Efraim Fima have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphie E. Verte, 1977 in April 2007 with an auction result of EUR 6,783.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2009 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rocks in the Negev von Efraim Fima zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.875,00 (€ 1.464,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Efraim Fima auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphie E. Verte, 1977 im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.783,00.
