In March this year Christies in New York held the auction First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online, which included the work FIGUR #1 by Fika Leon. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,032.00 (€ 4,587.18), 34% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fika Leon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Family Safari in April last year with an auction result of GBP 88,200.00 (€ 105,175.38).

Im März diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit FIGUR #1 von Fika Leon zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.032,00 (€ 4.587,18) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fika Leon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Family Safari im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 88.200,00 (€ 105.175,38).
