It achieved a price of USD 9,375.00 (€ 6,382.76), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. Admittedly, works by Fernando Canovas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 55,000.00 (€ 49,393.80).
