Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Défiance (Lilie) by Fernand Khnopff was auctioned at Christies in Paris in October 2020. The price achieved of EUR 25,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fernand Khnopff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Belgian les Enfants De Monsieur Neve in May 2013 with an auction result of GBP 422,500.00 (€ 493,968.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La Défiance (Lilie) von Fernand Khnopff kam im Oktober 2020 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 25.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fernand Khnopff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Belgian les Enfants De Monsieur Neve im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 422.500,00 (€ 493.968,47).
