Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Joie de l'Ardêche, No. 2, 1950s by Fernand Fonssagrives for USD 1,500.00 (€ 1,323.69). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fernand Fonssagrives achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lisa, 1949 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 46,600.00 (€ 29,933.20).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Joie de l'Ardêche, No. 2, 1950s von Fernand Fonssagrives für USD 1.500,00 (€ 1.323,69) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fernand Fonssagrives erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lisa, 1949 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 46.600,00 (€ 29.933,20).
