The work Toteninsel by Ferdinand Keller was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in July 2000. It achieved a price of NLG 30,425.20 (€ 13,373.82), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 52%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ferdinand Keller - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Diana, which sold at auction in November 2019 for EUR 28,750.00.

Die Arbeit Toteninsel von Ferdinand Keller kam im Juli 2000 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von NLG 30.425,20 (€ 13.373,82) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 52%. Für andere Arbeiten von Ferdinand Keller mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Diana beobachtet, die im November 2019 für EUR 28.750,00 versteigert wurde.
