Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work German jagender Jüngling (Young Hunter) by Ferdinand Keller was sold in the 19th Century European Paintings Including German, Austrian and Central European Paintings, The Orientalist Sale, Spanish Painting and the Scandinavian Sale auction at Sothebys in London in June 2010. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,640.81). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ferdinand Keller - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Diana, which sold at auction in November 2019 for EUR 28,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit German jagender Jüngling (Young Hunter) von Ferdinand Keller wurde im Juni 2010 in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings Including German, Austrian and Central European Paintings, The Orientalist Sale, Spanish Painting and the Scandinavian Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.640,81) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ferdinand Keller mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Diana beobachtet, die im November 2019 für EUR 28.750,00 versteigert wurde.
