Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work German tritonen by Ferdinand Keller for USD 9,375.00 (€ 7,677.50). This price was achieved in the auction Fine Old Master & 19th Century European Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ferdinand Keller - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Diana, which sold at auction in November 2019 for EUR 28,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
