Auction result well in line with expectations
In June last year Sothebys in Zurich held the auction Modern & Contemporary Auction, which included the work Winterlandschaft mit Wetterhorn by Ferdinand Hodler. The price achieved of CHF 693,000.00 (€ 693,132.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CHF 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ferdinand Hodler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Montanalandschaft Mit Becs De Bosson Und Vallon De Réchy Montana Landscape With Becs De Bosson And Vallon De Réchy in June 2013 with an auction result of CHF 8,005,000.00 (€ 6,511,061.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Zürich die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Winterlandschaft mit Wetterhorn von Ferdinand Hodler zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CHF 693.000,00 (€ 693.132,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CHF 600.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ferdinand Hodler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Montanalandschaft Mit Becs De Bosson Und Vallon De Réchy Montana Landscape With Becs De Bosson And Vallon De Réchy im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 8.005.000,00 (€ 6.511.061,49).
