Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Russian Art, which included the work Countrussian Butterflies, 1819 by Fedor Petrovich Tolstoi. The price achieved of USD 37,000.00 (€ 23,766.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Other works by Fedor Petrovich Tolstoi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2008 the work Countrussian Goosberrries, 1818 was auctioned for USD 44,200.00 (€ 28,391.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Countrussian Butterflies, 1819 von Fedor Petrovich Tolstoi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 37.000,00 (€ 23.766,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Fedor Petrovich Tolstoi konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2008 die Arbeit Countrussian Goosberrries, 1818 für USD 44.200,00 (€ 28.391,57) versteigert.
