In the Russian Art auction, the work Red And White Currants sold for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 8,988.80) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 4,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fedor Petrovich Tolstoi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Countrussian Goosberrries, 1818, which sold at auction in April 2008 for USD 44,200.00 (€ 28,391.57).

In der Auktion Russian Art wurde die Arbeit Red And White Currants für GBP 8.125,00 (€ 8.988,80) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 4.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Fedor Petrovich Tolstoi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Countrussian Goosberrries, 1818 beobachtet, die im April 2008 für USD 44.200,00 (€ 28.391,57) versteigert wurde.
