Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2008 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Verdant Mountain by Feng Yiming. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 180,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 15,436.21). Admittedly, works by Feng Yiming have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mysterious Clouds in the Fall in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 680,000.00 (€ 70,837.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2008 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Verdant Mountain von Feng Yiming zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 180.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 15.436,21) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Feng Yiming auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mysterious Clouds in the Fall im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 680.000,00 (€ 70.837,92).
