Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sound of The Running Stream by Feng Yiming was sold in the FINE MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY CHINESE PAINTINGS auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2005. It changed hands for a price of HKD 54,000.00 (€ 5,623.45) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 45,000.00 – 55,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Feng Yiming achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mysterious Clouds in the Fall in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 680,000.00 (€ 70,837.92).

Die Arbeit Sound of The Running Stream von Feng Yiming wurde im Mai 2005 in der Auktion FINE MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY CHINESE PAINTINGS bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 54.000,00 (€ 5.623,45) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 45.000,00 – 55.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Feng Yiming erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mysterious Clouds in the Fall im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 680.000,00 (€ 70.837,92).
