The work Deep in the Mountains by Feng Yiming was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2009. It achieved a price of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 29,679.31), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 48%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Feng Yiming - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mysterious Clouds in the Fall, which sold at auction in May 2012 for HKD 680,000.00 (€ 70,837.92).

Die Arbeit Deep in the Mountains von Feng Yiming kam im Mai 2009 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 29.679,31) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 48%. Für andere Arbeiten von Feng Yiming mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mysterious Clouds in the Fall beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für HKD 680.000,00 (€ 70.837,92) versteigert wurde.
