Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2008 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Chinese Art III - The Estella Collection, which included the work Sound Seeing/Army Hospital by Feng Mingqiu. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 75,000.00 (€ 6,180.95). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Feng Mingqiu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Light Form Script: Heart Sutra (Two Works), which sold at auction in April 2015 for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,890.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2008 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Chinese Art III - The Estella Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sound Seeing/Army Hospital von Feng Mingqiu zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 75.000,00 (€ 6.180,95) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Feng Mingqiu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Light Form Script: Heart Sutra (Two Works) beobachtet, die im April 2015 für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.890,97) versteigert wurde.
