A top price for Feng Minchang
This artwork by Feng Minchang achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2012. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Running Script Calligraphy sold for HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,068.42) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00. This high result makes Running Script Calligraphy the most expensive artwork by Feng Minchang that we have observed at auctions so far.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Feng Minchang erzielte im Mai 2012 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Running Script Calligraphy für HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.068,42) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00.
