Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy in Running Script by Feng Minchang was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2007. The price achieved of HKD 12,500.00 (€ 1,092.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Feng Minchang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Running Script Calligraphy in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,068.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script von Feng Minchang kam im November 2007 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 12.500,00 (€ 1.092,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Feng Minchang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Running Script Calligraphy im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.068,42).
