Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Poems In Running Script Calligraphy by Feng Minchang was sold in the FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2005. The price achieved of HKD 36,000.00 (€ 3,748.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Feng Minchang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Running Script Calligraphy, which sold at auction in May 2012 for HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,068.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Poems In Running Script Calligraphy von Feng Minchang wurde im Mai 2005 in der Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 36.000,00 (€ 3.748,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Feng Minchang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Running Script Calligraphy beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.068,42) versteigert wurde.
