Artwork auctioned at six times the upper estimate price
The work Calligpraphy In Running Script by Feng Minchang was worth HKD 30,000.00 (€ 3,627.93) to a buyer in October this year. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy at China Guardian and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 5,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Feng Minchang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Running Script Calligraphy, which sold at auction in May 2012 for HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,068.42).

Die Arbeit Calligpraphy In Running Script von Feng Minchang war einem Käufer im Oktober diesen Jahres HKD 30.000,00 (€ 3.627,93) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 5.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Feng Minchang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Running Script Calligraphy beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.068,42) versteigert wurde.
