Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Running-Script Calligraphy by Feng Minchang. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 3,555.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Feng Minchang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Running Script Calligraphy, which sold at auction in May 2012 for HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,068.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2013 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Running-Script Calligraphy von Feng Minchang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 3.555,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Feng Minchang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Running Script Calligraphy beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.068,42) versteigert wurde.
