Upper estimate price exceeded by 58 %.
The work Flower and Bronze Vessels by Feng Kanghou was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 63,000.00 (€ 7,617.16), 58% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Feng Kanghou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Three White Furong Seals in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 885,000.00 (€ 107,843.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 58 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Flower and Bronze Vessels von Feng Kanghou wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 63.000,00 (€ 7.617,16) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Feng Kanghou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Three White Furong Seals im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 885.000,00 (€ 107.843,17).
