A top price for Feng Kanghou
When the work Three White Furong Seals by Feng Kanghou was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in November 2016, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - HKD 80,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than 11 times as high at HKD 885,000.00 (€ 107,843.17). This high result makes Three White Furong Seals the most expensive artwork by Feng Kanghou that we have observed at auctions so far.

Als die Arbeit Three White Furong Seals von Feng Kanghou im November 2016 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der obere Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – HKD 80.000,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit HKD 885.000,00 (€ 107.843,17) mehr als elfmal so hoch.
